The Train the Trainers programme within the Say No Bullying project in Athens provided an excellent opportunity for participants to deepen their understanding of professional support work with NEET young adults.<\/p>

After a detailed exploration of the phenomenon, participants were provided with concrete tools, techniques and a development game that can be used by all and successfully drawn upon in training other trainers as well as in their work with the target group.<\/p>

Professionals of different nationalities and different disciplines were able to gain insights into each other’s work through interprofessional cooperation.<\/p>

This is particularly important because there is no specific organisation or support network for the target group in any of the countries.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

On the first day, after an introduction to the topic, they were able to learn about the latest research on the target group, its numbers, composition and perspectives, and why it is important to work on this issue and how the project itself helps.<\/p>

The second training day focused on people with special needs within the target group NEET, such as young people in primary social care, people with disabilities or psychiatric disorders and NEET mothers.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The third day was dedicated to cyberbullying and the process of victimisation of NEET people. We also learned about methodological innovations to curb this phenomenon.<\/p>

The fourth day was dedicated to internet safety and methodological techniques to support victims to develop and strengthen their self-esteem, including restorative techniques and coaching techniques.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The last day focused on the training material itself and on the development game, which was further developed in the context of professional counselling.<\/p>

The training took place in a good and constructive atmosphere, with the possibility to socialise and organise joint activities beyond the training.<\/p>
